Agnesz was born on the 5th of January in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland. She was 2 years old when she was adopted by Dutch parents and moved to the Netherlands. Her mother enrolled her into ballet classes when she was 5 years old and she’s been dancing, singing and acting ever since.
 

In 1998 she began taking acting lessons at the Youth Theatre School in Groningen. After performing in their production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet she got noticed by the director of the Dutch theatre group, De Noordelingen. She joined the ensemble and played in their touring production of, the greek tragedy, Oedipus.
 

In 2001 till 2004 she studied Dance at the Friesland College in Heerenveen, Netherlands. After completing her studies she moved to Spain where she taught dance (ballet and modern), specialized in flamenco and joined Spanish theatre company, Vientos Sur Teatro. At that time she bought her first guitar and started writing her own songs. Music lessons became very important in developing her craft as a singer songwriter.
 

Agnesz was accepted into the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City when she was 22 years old and moved to the big apple on Christmas day. She studied under well known and prestigious acting teachers and starred in short films and off (off) Broadway plays.
 

In 2010 she moved back to the Netherlands where she has been involved in English and Dutch theatre. She has starred in several theatre productions, films and had roles in Dutch TV series and soaps such as Rembrandt en ik and GTST. She also directed several staged play readings for the Orange Tea Theatre Company based in Amsterdam. In 2014 she started filming for the follow up hit tv show “Moeder ik wil bij de Revue”. One of the best watched tv series in the Netherlands. The sequel is called “Goedenavond Dames en Heren” and is set in the 60’s. The episodes aired in spring 2015 and was just as successful. Agnesz played the part of Melissa. A Dutch/American bohemian girl. She had to act, play guitar and sing in the tv serie.
 

Her passion for singing and songwriting also gathered momentum. In January 2013 she was chosen to perform at the Black Box Edition at the famous venue, Melkweg in Amsterdam. In 2013 she started working on her own music recordings with several musicians. The first 2 singles were released in the autumn of 2014. Her first music video, Creeping, was released in November 2014. Her Debut EP Cruel World was officially and independently released on Thursday September 17th 2015. After a successful crowd funding campaign in March 2016 she started working on her sophomore EP Album. The 2nd EP, titled Electric Trilogy, was released on the 29th of September 2016 and contains a very different sound but with the remaining characteristics that make Agnesz Anna’s music authentic. In 2022, on the 28th of September Agnesz Anna released her most recent work, the single I Feel. A new 12 song album and music video will be released in 2024.
